Marsden Point - NZ's Oil Refinery

New Zealand’s only oil refinery was built at Marsden Point, near Whangarei.

Marsden Point, on the south head of Whangarei Harbour entrance, is the site of New Zealand’s only oil refinery. It operates around the clock, 365 days a year. Almost half the fuel output is carried by pipeline to Auckland. The rest is shipped around the country from the deep-water berth at the point.

Marsden Point is set in pleasant surroundings, the nearby beach being a popular swimming area.

Marsden Point anta..illi NZ oil refinery irodu..deepest natural harbour ante...so crude oil ship li illige bandu, refine aagi amele all over NZ supply aagutte.
